Based on the original German Mannheim process for potassium sulfate production, we have conducted in-depth research into its working principles through over a decade of equipment manufacturing and production practice. By optimizing the reactor structure and upgrading materials, we have successfully resolved corrosion and high-temperature resistance challenges in furnace components. Furthermore, the hydrogen chloride absorption section employs innovative materials and advanced processes to ensure uniform heating and complete reaction of materials, significantly improving absorption efficiency. Practical production results demonstrate that this enhanced process not only achieves full compliance with environmental standards for waste emissions, but also delivers remarkable economic and environmental benefits for users:a 60% reduction in equipment maintenance costs, 20% decrease in energy consumption, and approximately 20% increase in unit productivity.

The Mannheim reaction furnace developed by our company adopts new refractory materials, improves the combination method of brick shapes, uses special mortar, and has a double-flue structure. By increasing the thermal conductivity of silicon carbide, it greatly reduces energy consumption and improves production capacity.
1.The new-type Mannheim furnace developed by our company has an annual output of 11,000 to 11,500 tons per single furnace set, which can directly increase the economic benefit by more than 1 million yuan.
2.Our reaction furnace consumes 50 m³ of natural gas per ton of potassium sulfate, while the consumption of similar production lines is over 75 m³. Each single furnace set can save about 200,000 m³ of natural gas per year, directly increasing the economic benefit by more than 800,000 yuan.
3.We promise a three-year warranty for the furnace body. The direct cost of a major overhaul of a single furnace set within three years is between 300,000 and 500,000 yuan depending on the situation. Since major overhauls are not required, 20,000 m³ of natural gas for furnace drying can be saved, and at the same time, the production period can be extended by one month. Each single furnace set can increase the economic benefit by more than 10%. In terms of this item alone, each furnace set can increase the economic benefit by 400,000 to 500,000 yuan per year.
4.The external temperature of the reaction furnace provided by our company does not exceed the ambient temperature by more than 10 degrees Celsius, which greatly improves the working environment of the workers.
According to professional calculations, each of our production lines can generate an annual direct economic value increment exceeding RMB 2 million for client enterprises. Furthermore, our company has its own physical manufacturing facility where the core equipment of these production lines is fabricated, ensuring fully guaranteed quality. In terms of automation control, the hydrogen chloride absorption system has basically achieved automatic control, and the furnace temperature control has now basically reached semi-automatic control.
Potassium nitrate appears as a transparent, colorless or white powder, odorless, with a specific gravity (water = 1) of 2.11. Its solubility in water is 13g per 100ml. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol.
The process of producing potassium nitrate and the by-product ammonium chloride through the metathesis method using ammonium nitrate and potassium chloride as raw materials has a history of 30 to 40 years in China. This process is reliable, with mature technology and stable quality. There is no risk of failure. Compared with other processes, it has a lower cost and higher output, and brings about the best economic benefits. This process is a circular one without the discharge of industrial wastes (waste water, waste gas and industrial residue), and causes no pollution to the surrounding environment.
